VIDEO_VOID

VIDEO_VOID (www.videovoid.org) is a web-based experiential video discovery and exploration platform. I was looking for a website like this but I couldn’t find one, so I made it — with AI assistance :P. You can place screens all around you and discover videos in a new way. It’s a tool for obscure research and a multi-screen playground.

Unique features:
– Arrange multiple online video feeds quickly and easily on a 2D or 3D plane.
– Search Youtube, Internet Archive and Dailymotion simultaneously.
– Up to a dozen search results or more start playing instantly (muted). You can unmute individual feeds, scramble them all to see the next ones, or keep some and keep refreshing others.
– Load Youtube playlists and see how videos from that playlist look playing together.
– The videos loop by default but you can choose to have them switch to a new one when they end.
– Use obscure search parameters and filters to surface videos the algorithm would never show you.
– Watch ”Default Filename TV” to see completely random videos from all over the world.
– Switch the UI colours between emerald green, amethyst purple or gray. Alternatively, hide de UI entirely.

Here’s an example of the sorts of fun you can have with it. It’s pretty flexible, there are probably many use cases I haven’t thought of:
